The Queen Mary University has launched Pink Law - a free, legal service to help hose who are lesbians, gay, bisexuals and transgender. We encourage all members to support this.
The department of law at the Queen Mary University, London has launched a project called ‘Pink Law’. This is a service to provide legal advice specifically to those who are lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender. It recognises that those who are LGBT may experience particular difficulties relating to discrimination, family law, housing, immigration etc.
At its launch in November 2008, it was supported by Mr Justice Fulford who attended the launch event and who spoke in its favour.
If you are a member of BLAGG, then you may be able to assist Pink Law by way of providing written advice on cases, supervising actual appointments or supervising advice letters written by law students. If you would like to volunteer to help and/or would like to know more, please could you email us here informing us of:
-
