BLAGG DINNER
16 JULY 2010 at 7pm
VENUE : CHEZ GERARD, CHANCERY LANE

This summer we are hosting a lovely summer dinner at Chez Gerard. Some of you will remember that we had an enjoyable evening in February 2010 at the same venue in honour of His Honour Judge Lochrane’s appointment to the Circuit Bench.

This July we have a very special guest, Mr Justice Roderick Wood who has very kindly accepted our invitation to dinner and to speak to us after dinner. We are very honoured to have Mr Justice Wood who sits in the Family Division of The High Court and is an experienced Judge, having been a Circuit Judge since 2002 and later elevated to the High Court Bench in 2004.

We propose to adopt a similar format to that we used for HHJ Lochrane’s dinner in terms of the cost of the dinner, that being on a graduated basis according to seniority. You will no doubt agree that the method applied is a fair one in order to attract as many students and more junior members of the bar. The cost which will include a three course meal and wine will be:

2005 call and earlier £50
2006 and later £35
Students/pupils £25

Please send a cheque made payable to BLAGG, together with your completed menu choices in the form below to: Hassan Khan, 4 Paper Buildings, Temple, London, EC4Y 7AX, DX LDE 1035

Should you have any questions please contact Hassan Khan, email hk@4pb.com, telephone 020 7583 0816

We look forward to seeing you all soon.

Obviously, this will only work if as many of us as possible actually do turn up robed!

Looking forward to seeing you there.

All the best,
Corinne on behalf of the committee

------------

Keep up to date with the legal sector Pride 2010 march and register your interest on our Facebook page: http://tinyurl.com/37cyxna

And we’re also on Twitter: http://twitter.com/LegalPride2010

Visit the London Pride 2010 website at http://www.pridelondon.org/
